The Perfect Fry 84061 Pivoting Element Assembly is a genuine OEM 7.3kW, 230V replacement heating element with an integrated pivoting mechanism for Perfect Fry PFA 2.0 series ventless fryers equipped with the element lift system. Rated at 7,300 watts and approximately 31.7 amps at 230V, this high‑output element is designed for international and select domestic 230V single‑phase commercial circuits and provides the fast temperature recovery needed for high‑volume frying operations. The pivot design enables the element to be raised out of the vat for cleaning access without disconnecting the electrical supply, improving service convenience and reducing cleaning time.
At 7.3kW, the 84061 operates at one of the highest power densities in the PFA 2.0 range, meaning that carbonization from degraded oil builds up more rapidly on the sheath than it would on lower‑wattage elements. Regular oil changes and vat cleaning are therefore particularly important for extending element life on this configuration. The pivot mechanism itself requires periodic inspection to ensure the pivot joints are moving freely and the lift cable attachment is secure, as binding or cable wear can prevent the element from seating fully in the oil and reduce heat transfer efficiency.
Element replacement follows the standard PFA 2.0 element lift service procedure: isolate and lock out the power supply, drain the vat, detach the lift cable, and disconnect the element leads before removing the assembly.
