The Pitco Gas Valve, BMVR LP, 10.0 WC is a genuine OEM replacement BMVR-series gas valve for Pitco commercial fryers configured for liquid propane fuel, set to deliver 10.0 inches water column outlet pressure. This valve provides the higher outlet pressure required by LP burner orifices to achieve the correct BTU output and flame characteristics for LP combustion on Pitco fryers. Using the correct OEM valve calibrated to 10.0 WC ensures the burner fires at the design heat rate without under-fire or over-fire conditions.

Over time, the original BMVR LP valve can develop regulator spring fatigue that causes outlet pressure drift, solenoid coil failure, or diaphragm wear from the particulate matter sometimes present in propane bulk supply systems. Pressure drift from the 10.0 WC specification causes inefficient combustion, visible yellow flame tips, increased propane consumption, or potential carbon monoxide production. Installing the replacement valve restores precisely regulated 10.0 WC LP delivery to the burner system.
