This limit switch automatically disconnects heating elements if cabinet temperature exceeds a safe upper threshold, protecting food quality and preventing equipment overheating.

Temperature limiters fail when internal bimetal sensing elements lose responsiveness, electrical switch contacts become corroded or pitted with carbon deposits, or mechanical components lose proper calibration.
