The Avantco 177DRWRHEAT Heating/Holding Control Drawer Assembly is an OEM replacement component for Avantco commercial warming cabinets that integrates control mechanisms with a drawer-style food holding interface. This assembly combines drawer storage functionality with integrated heating or temperature control features that support food warming and holding during service periods.
Heating/holding drawer assemblies fail when integrated heating elements degrade, control mechanisms lose function, or drawer slides become worn and bind. A non-functional assembly cannot properly heat or hold food at correct temperatures, reducing cabinet effectiveness. Additionally, mechanical failure may compromise drawer sealing, allowing heat loss and reduced cabinet efficiency.
Professional kitchen equipment technicians must perform replacement due to the integrated heating and control components requiring proper installation. The technician will isolate electrical power and allow cooling time before accessing the cabinet interior.
