    The Avantco 177MXONOFF On/Off Switch is an OEM replacement electrical control component for Avantco commercial warming or mixing equipment that provides primary power control. This switch allows operators to energize and de-energize the equipment, controlling compressor, heater, or other active components as appropriate for the equipment type.

    A malfunctioning on/off switch may fail to energize the equipment, stick in the on position causing continuous operation, or exhibit intermittent contact causing unpredictable equipment behavior. A worn switch can stick and prevent operation entirely, or fail to disable the equipment when switched off. Electrical arcing at failing switch contacts can damage the switch terminals and surrounding components.

    The 177MXONOFF should be replaced by a qualified electrician who verifies power isolation and tests de-energization before beginning work. The old switch should be carefully removed from its mounting and electrical connectors, and the new switch installed with secure, properly-seated electrical connections. After installation, the switch should be tested to verify it controls the equipment reliably and completely.
