The Avantco 178LSCD3 Shelf with Suction Cups is an OEM replacement component for Avantco commercial panini press and sandwich equipment designed to provide a removable holding surface within the equipment cavity. This shelf features suction cup attachments that secure it to the interior surface, allowing for flexible food product positioning and organization during equipment operation.

Shelves fail when suction cups lose adhesion from aging rubber degradation, the shelf surface warps or cracks from heat exposure, or fastening hardware corrodes. A damaged or missing shelf reduces the equipment's ability to organize and hold food products properly during cooking or warming. Loss of shelf functionality may prevent proper food spacing or positioning needed for consistent sandwich or panini preparation.

Installation of the Avantco 178LSCD3 is simple and requires no tools or special training. Kitchen staff can perform installation by first cleaning the interior surface where the shelf will mount to remove any food debris or moisture.
