    The Avantco 177PHCD036 Heating/Proofing Rocker Switch is an OEM replacement electrical control component for Avantco commercial food warming and dough proofing equipment. This rocker-style switch allows operators to easily toggle the heater element on and off while providing tactile feedback of the current operational state.

    A failing rocker switch may become stuck in one position, stick intermittently requiring force to operate, or lose electrical contact internally, causing the heater to fail to activate or run continuously. A switch with poor contact can cause the heating element to cycle erratically, preventing consistent temperature maintenance. Complete switch failure leaves the warming equipment inoperable.

    The 177PHCD036 should be replaced by a qualified technician after power is isolated from the equipment and verified with a multimeter. The electrical terminals should be carefully disconnected and the old switch removed from its mounting bracket.
