    The Avantco 177PHDCTHERM Thermostat is an OEM replacement temperature control component for Avantco commercial food holding and warming equipment that maintains precise cabinet temperatures. This thermostat cycles the heating element on and off to hold the setpoint temperature consistent throughout operation.

    A failing thermostat exhibits symptoms such as temperature overshoot where the cabinet exceeds the setpoint, temperature undershoot where it fails to reach setpoint, or erratic cycling that causes temperature fluctuations. Temperature instability can compromise food safety and quality, and excessive cycling increases energy consumption and reduces equipment component lifespan. A completely failed thermostat leaves the equipment unable to maintain temperature.

    Installation of the 177PHDCTHERM requires accessing the equipment control panel and carefully disconnecting the old thermostat from its mounting bracket and electrical terminals.
