The Avantco 177PMX30CAX Center Axle Assembly is an OEM replacement component for Avantco mixer equipment. The center axle assembly is a precision-manufactured shaft and bearing assembly that supports the mixer bowl or mixing mechanism at its center point. This assembly must be accurately balanced and properly aligned to prevent vibration and ensure consistent mixing action during food preparation.
Center axle assemblies require replacement when they become bent or misaligned from impact or wear, develop bearing play or looseness, corrode from exposure to moisture and food products, or fail to spin freely due to bearing damage. A bent or misaligned axle causes excessive vibration during mixing, unbalanced mixing action, or potential damage to the mixer bowl. A seized or failing bearing prevents the mixer from operating at all.
Installation of the 177PMX30CAX requires disassembly of the mixer bowl and internal components. The equipment must be powered down and locked out before beginning work. The old center axle assembly is unbolted or pressed out of its mounting location, and the new assembly installed using the same fastening points or pressing tools as required.
