The Avantco 177PMX30CMS Complete Microswitch Set is an OEM replacement component for Avantco mixer equipment. This set includes all microswitches required for proper mixer operation and safety. Microswitches are sensitive electrical switches that detect equipment status such as bowl position, lid closure, or safety interlocks, and control appropriate equipment responses. The complete set ensures all safety and operational switches function as designed.
Complete microswitch sets require replacement when individual switches fail, become corroded, lose electrical contact, or fail to actuate reliably. Failed microswitches can prevent the mixer from operating, disable safety interlocks, allow the mixer to operate when the lid is open, or cause other operational abnormalities. A failed safety microswitch creates a potential hazard for equipment operators.
Installation of the 177PMX30CMS involves disconnecting power to the mixer and accessing the microswitch mounting locations.
