    The Avantco 17816510 Right Shelf Rail is an OEM replacement component for Avantco commercial refrigeration equipment that provides the mounting structure for the right side of removable shelves. This rail supports shelves and must be securely fastened to the equipment frame to bear load from stored products.

    A bent, cracked, or damaged right shelf rail prevents shelves from seating properly and causes them to shift or sag during use. Uneven rail damage may allow shelves to tilt, potentially spilling products or causing shelves to fall. Multiple damaged rails render the equipment unable to safely store products.

    Installation of the 17816510 involves removing fasteners or cutting welds that attach the old rail to the equipment frame and securing the new rail in the same position. The new rail should be installed with tight, secure fastenings that will not loosen from vibration or weight. After installation, shelves should be placed and checked for level alignment across their width.
