This hard coat version of the evaporator coil serves as the essential heat exchange element that transfers thermal energy from the cabinet interior to the refrigerant, enabling the refrigeration system to maintain proper temperatures for food storage and preservation.
Evaporator coil deterioration stems from refrigerant leaks, freeze-thaw cycles that crack coil materials, corrosion from moisture and salt exposure in commercial kitchens, or mechanical damage during cleaning or equipment servicing.
