The Avantco 178CFD1KITFR Field Reversible Hinge Kit is an OEM replacement kit designed for converting the hinge orientation on Avantco glass door freezer and cooler display cases. This kit enables field conversion from left-hinged to right-hinged door configuration without removing the cabinet from service. The kit includes all necessary hinge components, brackets, pins, and fasteners required to reverse door swing direction while maintaining proper alignment and seal integrity on glass door equipment.

Field reversible hinge kits are needed when display case placement or floor layout requires the door to swing in the opposite direction. Converting hinges with improper methods or non-OEM components can result in misalignment, gaps that compromise door sealing, binding during operation, or hinge failures.
