The Avantco 178CLIP Refrigeration Shelf Clip is an OEM replacement fastening component for Avantco commercial refrigeration equipment that secures shelves to the interior frame supports. These clips prevent shelves from shifting during equipment transport or routine service while remaining removable to allow shelf cleaning and repositioning.

Broken or missing shelf clips allow shelves to shift and potentially contact internal components like evaporator coils, blocking airflow and causing freezing or cooling failure. A shelf that becomes loose can drop suddenly, damaging products and creating a safety hazard. Multiple missing clips may cause uneven weight distribution and shelf sagging.
