The Avantco 178HNGCFDGTR Top Right Hinge is an OEM replacement component for Avantco glass door freezer and cooler display cases with right-hinged glass doors. This is a complete hinge assembly positioned at the top right of the door frame that serves as a primary pivot point for door operation. The hinge incorporates the hinge pin, bushing, and mounting bracket as an integrated assembly, designed specifically to support the weight and size of tempered glass doors on display equipment.
Glass door hinges require replacement when they become bent, cracked, corroded, develop play or looseness, or bind during operation. A damaged top right hinge causes the glass door to sag, hang unevenly, stick during opening, or fail to close completely and seal. Glass doors that cannot seal properly allow cold air to escape and warm air to infiltrate the display case, compromising internal temperature and causing product deterioration.
The 178HNGCFDGTR is installed as a direct bolt-on replacement hinge assembly. The refrigeration unit must be powered down before installation begins.
