    The Avantco 178SHELFSC1 Coated Wire Shelf is an OEM replacement shelving component for Avantco commercial refrigeration equipment that provides product storage and display surfaces. The white or colored coating protects the underlying wire from moisture and corrosion while allowing air circulation necessary for proper cooling throughout the cabinet.

    A bent, rusted, or damaged shelf cannot properly support product weight and may collapse or drop during use. Broken shelf wires can catch product during removal, tearing packaging or damaging contents. Corroded shelves appear unsanitary and can stain products or the cabinet interior.

    Installation of the 178SHELFSC1 involves removing the old shelf and positioning the new shelf on support brackets or clips inside the equipment cabinet. The shelf should be centered and secured at all mounting points, with adjustment made to achieve level alignment.
