    The Avantco 184PTCNTRL Power Control is an OEM replacement electrical component for Avantco panini and sandwich press equipment that regulates power delivery to the heating plates. This control manages the on-off cycling of the heating elements to maintain optimal cooking surface temperature for consistent product quality.

    A failing power control may allow the heating plates to overheat, burning products and creating a fire hazard, or may underheat the plates, leaving products undercooked. Intermittent power control can cause inconsistent heating and unpredictable cooking results. Complete power control failure prevents the press from heating at all.

    Installation of the 184PTCNTRL requires accessing the equipment's internal electrical panel and carefully disconnecting the old control from its terminals and mounting bracket. The new power control should be installed with secure electrical connections that match the original configuration. After installation, the equipment should be powered on and the heating plates monitored to verify that temperature control is smooth and consistent.
