The Avantco 18931236 condensate pan is an OEM replacement component for select Avantco commercial refrigeration units. This pan collects water condensation that forms on the condenser coil or drains from the defrost cycle, channeling it to an external drain system. The condensate pan is essential for managing water runoff and maintaining sanitary conditions around commercial refrigeration equipment.
Condensate pans fail due to corrosion and rust from prolonged water exposure, cracks or holes that allow water to leak, disconnection from mounting points due to vibration, or blockage from mineral deposits and debris. Symptoms of pan failure include water pooling or leaking around the equipment exterior, visible rust or corrosion on the pan, or water backing up and leaking into adjacent areas. A non-functional condensate pan allows water accumulation, creating slip hazards and potential water damage to flooring and adjacent equipment.
Installation of the Avantco 18931236 condensate pan should be performed by a qualified refrigeration technician.
