The Avantco 19497752 inlet valve is an OEM replacement component for select Avantco commercial ice machines. This inlet valve controls the flow of refrigerant into the ice machine's evaporator or freezing surface, enabling proper ice production. The inlet valve is essential for regulating refrigerant flow and maintaining consistent ice machine operation under varying demand conditions.
Inlet valves fail through refrigerant system contamination that causes valve sticking or seizing, mechanical wear of internal components from repeated operation, corrosion from moisture and acid exposure, or electrical solenoid malfunction in electrically operated valves. Symptoms of failure include reduced or absent ice production, irregular ice formation, inconsistent ice cube quality, or inability to start ice production. A non-functional inlet valve prevents proper refrigerant regulation, stopping ice production and ice machine operation.
Installation of the Avantco 19497752 inlet valve must be completed by a certified refrigeration technician.
