The Pitco Basket, Fry (11" X 5-5/8", Fh) is a direct replacement fry basket for Pitco commercial deep fryers. Measuring 11 inches in length and 5-5/8 inches in width with a front hook (Fh) handle configuration, this basket is sized for half-vat or split-vat fryer models that allow two baskets to operate side by side in a single fry vessel. Using the correct basket ensures proper fit within the half-vat, correct immersion depth, and compatibility with the fryer's front-hook basket hanger for safe, efficient split-vat frying.
Over time, the original half-vat basket can corrode at wire weld points, develop mesh deformation from the weight of loaded product and repeated thermal cycling, or suffer handle damage that compromises safe basket retrieval. A damaged basket reduces effective half-vat capacity, creates food safety risks from corroding wire, and may no longer hang securely on the fryer's front-hook hanger.
