The Pitco Basket Support Rack is a direct replacement support rack for Pitco commercial deep fryers. It positions inside the fry vessel to hold fry baskets at the correct depth within the cooking oil, providing a stable platform that keeps baskets off the heating tubes and vessel bottom during frying. Using the correct support rack ensures consistent basket positioning for repeatable cook times and even product immersion across every frying cycle.
Over time, the original basket support rack can corrode, warp from thermal stress, or suffer physical damage from heavy baskets or cleaning tools, preventing it from holding baskets at the proper height and angle. A damaged rack allows baskets to contact heating tubes or rest unevenly, which can cause product to cook inconsistently, damage heating elements, and create safety hazards when retrieving hot baskets.
