The Baxter 01-1M7495-00001 is the OEM steam solenoid valve kit for Baxter steam-inject rack ovens. The steam solenoid valve controls water flow into the steam generator, opening on command to allow water to enter the steam system and closing to stop flow when steam injection is complete. In rack ovens that rely on steam injection for crust development and moisture retention during baking, the steam solenoid valve is a critical component — a failed or sticking valve will result in no steam delivery, inconsistent steam injection, or continuous water flow into the steam circuit.
Common symptoms of a failing steam solenoid valve include no steam being produced when the steam function is engaged, steam injecting continuously even when not commanded, water leaking from the steam circuit during or after the baking cycle, or the oven displaying error codes related to the steam system.
