PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Bell Crank Bolt for Cleveland Part# GF299

Details
The Bell Crank Bolt (Part# GF299) is a Cleveland-compatible replacement bell crank hook or linkage component for use in Cleveland commercial cooking equipment mechanical assemblies. Bell cranks are pivoting lever mechanisms that redirect the direction or change the mechanical advantage of an applied force, commonly used in door linkages, valve actuator mechanisms, and other multi-point mechanical systems within the equipment cabinet.
Bell crank linkages experience wear at their pivot points and hook connections from the repeated mechanical cycling of normal equipment operation. Worn pivot holes or hook tips can introduce slop into the mechanical linkage, causing imprecise door alignment, valve actuation delays, or complete disconnection of the mechanical system. Physical damage from impact or excessive force can also bend or break a bell crank, immediately disabling the mechanism it controls.
Bell crank replacement requires the equipment to be de-energized and the relevant mechanism to be disassembled to access the component. A qualified service technician should remove the old bell crank from its pivot mounting, noting the connection points and orientation of all linked components, and install the new Bell Crank Bolt in the same configuration. Verify smooth movement through the full range of motion and correct alignment of all connected linkage points before testing the associated function through complete operational cycles.
