PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Blodgett 30518 Rocker Switch is a single-pole double-throw (SPDT) switch designed for use in Blodgett commercial ovens and equipment. This genuine replacement part ensures reliable control of key oven functions and fits perfectly for easy installation.

Details
The Blodgett 30518 Rocker Switch, SPDT is a OEM factory-original switch for use in Blodgett commercial convection ovens, deck ovens, and combination cooking equipment. Switches are fundamental electrical components throughout Blodgett commercial cooking equipment, providing on/off control of circuits, safety interlocks, mode selection, and operator interface functions within the oven's control architecture.
Commercial oven switches including micro switches, rocker switches, door switches, and limit switches serve both operator control and safety functions. Door interlock switches, for example, prevent oven operation when doors are open, while limit switches provide positional feedback and safety shutoffs within mechanical systems.
A failed switch may cause a circuit to remain permanently open or closed, resulting in non-functional controls, inoperable safety interlocks, or equipment that will not power on. Physical signs of switch failure include a broken actuator, burned contacts visible after disassembly, or an audible click that does not correspond to circuit continuity.
Switch replacement should be performed by a qualified technician with the equipment de-energized. Identify the switch by its actuator type, contact configuration, and mounting dimensions. Disconnect the wiring, remove the switch from its mounting, install the replacement, and reconnect the leads. Restore power and test the switch function in the context of its role in the oven system.
This OEM factory-original switch is matched to the contact rating, actuator style, and mounting configuration of Blodgett equipment, ensuring a proper fit and reliable electrical performance as a direct replacement.
