Details
The Blodgett Spring, Cs Catch (Part# 61554) is a genuine OEM replacement spring for Blodgett commercial convection, combi, and deck ovens. Installed as part of a mechanical assembly on Blodgett commercial convection, combi, and deck ovens, this spring supplies the return tension needed for correct operation of the component it supports.
Springs are placed under constant load and repeated flexing every time the assembly they support is cycled, and that fatigue eventually causes the spring to weaken, stretch, or break outright. A failing spring typically presents as a door or component that no longer returns to position, sags, or feels loose compared to normal operation.
Replacement should be performed by a maintenance technician. With the equipment de-energized, relieve tension on the assembly carefully before removing the worn spring from its mounting points. Install the new spring in the same orientation and mounting points, then cycle the assembly through its full range of motion to confirm proper tension and return before returning the unit to service.
