PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Bonnet for Cleveland Part# SE50013

Details
The Bonnet (Part# SE50013) is a Cleveland-compatible replacement valve bonnet for use in Cleveland commercial steamer and cooking equipment valve assemblies. The bonnet is the top cap or cover assembly of a valve body that houses the stem, packing, and actuator mechanism, providing the sealed enclosure that allows the stem to pass through the valve body while preventing internal fluid or steam from escaping around the stem.
Valve bonnets can develop leaks over time as the packing material compresses, hardens, or deteriorates from the continuous steam and temperature exposure of the steamer environment. A leaking bonnet manifests as steam or water weeping around the stem area of the valve body, leaving mineral deposits on the valve and surrounding components. If the bonnet itself is cracked or physically damaged, replacement is the only remediation.
Bonnet replacement must be performed with the steam system fully shut down, depressurized, and cooled. A qualified service technician should isolate the valve, carefully unbolt the bonnet from the valve body, and install the new Bonnet with fresh packing material as required. Torque the bonnet bolts evenly to the specification in the Cleveland service documentation. Slowly restore steam pressure, check for any leaks, and confirm smooth valve operation before returning the system to service.
