The Pitco Brush, Cleaning - Fryer Coils is a direct replacement cleaning brush for Pitco commercial electric fryers equipped with immersion heating coils. Its bristle configuration and handle geometry are designed to reach between and around the fryer's heating coils, dislodging baked-on carbon deposits, crumb accumulation, and polymerized grease that cannot be removed by soaking alone during the boil-out process. Using the correct coil cleaning brush ensures effective cleaning without scratching or damaging the heating element surfaces.
Over time, the original cleaning brush can lose bristles, bend, or deform from aggressive use, reducing its ability to reach into tight spaces between coils and clean them effectively. Inadequate coil cleaning allows carbon and grease deposits to accumulate on the element surfaces, insulating them from the oil, reducing heat transfer efficiency, and creating localized overheating that can shorten element life. Replacing it with this coil cleaning brush restores effective mechanical cleaning capability for the heating element assembly.
The brush requires no installation — it is a hand tool used during the boil-out procedure with the fryer drained and filled with cleaning solution.
