The Buckeye 2.5 lb Halotron Fire Extinguisher uses Halotron I, a clean-agent suppression compound that effectively combats Class B (flammable liquids and gases) and Class C (energized electrical equipment) fires without leaving any residue. Halotron I is an environmentally responsible replacement for halon 1211 extinguishers, with extremely low ozone depletion potential and global warming potential. Its non-conductive, residue-free discharge makes it the preferred choice for computers, telephone switch rooms, data centers, electronic data storage facilities, server rooms, and offices where equipment protection is as critical as fire suppression.

This unit is configured with a discharge hose and vehicle bracket, enabling both precise directional agent application and secure on-vehicle mounting. The steel cylinder with polyester epoxy powder coating and rugged all-metal valve assembly provides durable construction in mobile environments. Operating at 100 psi, it delivers a 9-second discharge with a range of 6–10 feet. It carries a UL rating of 2-B:C and is manufactured in compliance with ANSI/UL 2129 and ANSI/UL 711 standards. Operating temperature range is -40°F to 120°F. Shipping weight is approximately 5.5 lbs.
