The Buckeye 5 lb Purple K fire extinguisher with hose and vehicle bracket provides potassium bicarbonate dry chemical suppression for Class B (flammable liquids) and Class C (energized electrical) fires in a mobile, vehicle-ready configuration. Potassium bicarbonate is the preferred agent for flammable liquid fire suppression in demanding industrial and military environments, and the 5 lb charge provides substantial capacity for vehicle-mounted deployment on service trucks, tankers, and industrial equipment.
This hose-equipped model achieves a UL Rating of 20-B:C — double the rating of the equivalent fixed-nozzle 5 lb model — because the hose enables more precise, effective agent delivery, maximizing suppression efficiency.
