PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Burner Valve 1/8"Mpt X 1/8"Mp for Blodgett Part# Z1176006

Details
The Burner Valve 1/8"Mpt X 1/8"Mp for Blodgett Part# Z1176006 is a compatible aftermarket replacement valve for use in Blodgett commercial convection ovens, deck ovens, and combination cooking equipment. Valves in commercial Blodgett gas equipment regulate the flow of gas to burners, pilots, and control systems, and must maintain precise flow characteristics and tight shut-off under the operating pressures and continuous cycling demands of commercial kitchen use.
Solenoid valves and gas valves in Blodgett ovens are actuated electrically under the command of thermostats, ignition controls, or safety systems. They open to allow gas flow when heat is called for and close to shut off gas flow when the set temperature is reached or a safety condition is detected.
A failing valve may prevent gas from flowing to the burner, causing the oven to fail to light or to run at insufficient temperature. Alternatively, a valve that fails to close completely can allow gas to continue flowing past the shutoff point, which is a serious safety concern that requires immediate service attention.
Valve replacement must be performed by a qualified gas appliance technician. Shut off the main gas supply to the equipment before beginning work. Relieve any residual pressure in the gas train, disconnect the gas line connections and electrical leads, remove the valve, install the replacement with proper thread sealant on NPT connections, and test for leaks with an approved leak detection solution before returning the equipment to service.
This compatible aftermarket replacement valve is rated to the gas type, pressure, and connection size specified for Blodgett equipment, providing reliable gas flow control and a code-compliant, direct replacement for the original component.
