The Pitco Caster,Plate (2",Rigid) is a direct replacement 2-inch rigid caster for Pitco commercial fryer and equipment stands, providing a fixed-direction rolling support that works in conjunction with swivel casters to allow the fryer to be moved for cleaning and servicing while maintaining directional stability when the equipment is in its operating position. The plate-mount design attaches to the bottom frame of the fryer stand and provides the load rating necessary to support the weight of a full fryer including cooking oil. Using the correct rigid caster ensures the proper wheel diameter, plate bolt pattern, and load capacity for the specific Pitco fryer stand.
Over time, rigid casters can develop flat spots, cracked wheels, seized bearings, or broken mounting plates from the sustained weight of the fryer and the repeated rolling and impact loads of moving the unit across kitchen floors.
