Details
The Cleveland O-ring;fda BUNA-N(2-164) (Part# FA05002-2) is a genuine OEM replacement gasket for Cleveland commercial steamers and combi ovens. This gasket forms a seal between two mating surfaces on Cleveland commercial steamers and combi ovens, keeping heat, steam, water, or pressure contained within the compartment or line it's installed on.
Constant compression cycling combined with heat and moisture exposure breaks down the gasket material over time, leading to hardening, cracking, or a loss of compression that allows heat, steam, or pressure to escape past the seal.
Replacement is a straightforward job for a maintenance technician. With the equipment powered down and cooled, and any pressure relieved, open the assembly and remove the old gasket completely, cleaning the mating surface of any residue. Press the new gasket into its channel or mounting points, ensuring full and even contact around the perimeter, then close the assembly and check for a tight, even seal before returning the unit to service.
