PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Cleveland KE50556-2 Probe is an original Cleveland component engineered for commercial kitchen applications, helping maintain safety, uptime, and manufacturer-rated performance of steam equipment.

Details
The Probe, Water Level, KGL40 Up (#3H1) (Part# KE50556-2) is a genuine OEM Cleveland replacement temperature probe for use in Cleveland commercial steamer and cooking equipment. Temperature probes serve as the primary sensing elements that measure cooking compartment, boiler, or product temperatures and relay that information to the equipment control system for precise temperature regulation.
Temperature probes are subject to degradation from thermal cycling, moisture exposure, and physical handling that are inherent to commercial kitchen equipment service life. A failing probe may provide readings that drift from the actual temperature, produce erratic or fluctuating display readings, or fail to produce any signal at all. Probe failure often presents as temperature-related cooking inconsistencies before any error code is triggered.
Probe replacement should be completed by a qualified service technician with the unit de-energized and cooled. Remove the existing probe from its mounting location, disconnect the wiring connector, and install the new Probe, Water Level, KGL40 Up (#3H1) in the same position. Reconnect the wiring, restore power, and compare the probe reading to a calibrated reference thermometer through a full heating cycle to verify accuracy before returning the equipment to commercial food production.
