PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Condensate Trunnion for Cleveland Part# KE504551

Details
The Condensate Trunnion (Part# KE504551) is a Cleveland-compatible replacement condensate component for use in Cleveland commercial steam-jacketed kettle and steamer equipment. Condensate management components handle the collection, drainage, and return of condensed steam water from the cooking compartment, steam jacket, or steam lines to prevent water buildup that would otherwise interfere with equipment performance and create hygiene concerns in the kitchen.
Condensate handling components are subject to corrosion, scale buildup, and mechanical wear from the continuous passage of hot water and steam condensate through the system. A blocked or failed condensate component can cause water to accumulate in areas where it does not belong, leading to uneven cooking, water hammer in steam lines, corrosion of adjacent components, and potential slip hazards from water on kitchen floors.
Condensate component replacement should be performed by a qualified service technician with the equipment fully shut down, depressurized, and cooled. Remove the old component, clean the surrounding area and mating surfaces, and install the new Condensate Trunnion with appropriate sealants or gaskets as required. Restore operation and verify that condensate is draining correctly during the next operating cycle with no signs of pooling or leakage.
