The contactor (Jackson Part# 5945-109-01-69) is a 4-pole, 30/40 Amp electrical component rated for 208/240V service in Jackson commercial dishwashing equipment. This replacement controls electrical power delivery to high-amperage loads such as water pumps, heating elements, and solenoid-operated valves. The contactor works with the equipment's control system to safely switch major electrical loads during the wash cycle sequence.
Contactors degrade through electrical arcing that pits and erodes contact surfaces, preventing reliable electrical connections and causing intermittent power delivery to connected components.
