PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Contactor2-Pole,30 Amp,2 40V for Jackson Part# 1210

Details
The contactor (Jackson Part# 1210) is a 2-pole, 30 Amp electrical switch rated for 240V operation in Jackson commercial dishwashing equipment. This replacement controls medium to high-amperage electrical loads such as circulation pumps and heating elements. The contactor responds to control signals and manages power delivery to major equipment functions during wash cycle sequences.
Contactors fail when electrical arcing damages contact surfaces, creating pitting and erosion that prevents reliable electrical connections and causes intermittent power delivery to connected components. Contact degradation accumulates over time, resulting in sporadic operation and unpredictable equipment behavior. Severe arcing can weld contacts together, preventing disconnection, or burn contacts open, creating permanent disconnection. Symptoms include equipment loads activating sporadically, major components not responding reliably to signals, or wash cycles not progressing properly.
A qualified technician with electrical training should perform the replacement due to electrical hazards and the need to properly isolate circuits before work. All power must be confirmed off using a multimeter before disconnecting the old contactor. After installation, test all contactor-controlled loads to verify reliable operation throughout multiple complete wash cycles. Monitor contactors regularly during maintenance for arcing damage, contact surface erosion, discoloration, or unusual heating, and replace proactively if degradation is observed.
