PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Curtain - 20-1/2" X 12" for Jackson Part# 84151317344

Details
This is a replacement Curtain (part# 84151317344) measuring 20-1/2" wide by 12" in length, designed for Jackson commercial warewashing equipment, including undercounter dishwashers, door-type dishwashers, flight-type conveyor dishwashers, glass washers, and pot & pan washers. The machine curtain serves as a flexible barrier that directs water spray and steam within the wash chamber while preventing splash-out that could expose operators to hot water and steam.
Machine curtains degrade due to prolonged exposure to high-temperature water, caustic detergent solutions, and steam that cause material brittleness, discoloration, and loss of flexibility. Symptoms of curtain failure include visible cracks or splits in the material, gaps allowing steam escape, water spray reaching the operator area, incomplete coverage of the wash chamber, and material fragments visible in the drying chamber. Failure to replace a degraded curtain compromises operator safety by allowing steam burns and hot water splashing, reduces equipment efficiency by misdirecting spray patterns, and violates safety regulations requiring proper machine guarding.
Installation is a basic maintenance task performed by facility staff requiring only minimal tools. The curtain is a direct fit replacement typically held in place with clips or magnetic fasteners that are easily removed and reinstalled. Before installing the new curtain, inspect the attachment hardware for wear or damage and replace as needed. Position the curtain carefully to ensure complete coverage of the wash area and proper alignment with spray nozzles. Test the equipment at low temperature and speed initially to verify proper curtain positioning before returning to full operational use.
