Details
The Delfield Probe, Air Sensing, Danfoss Ctr (Part# 2194756) is a genuine OEM replacement temperature sensing component for Delfield refrigerated prep tables and cold-holding equipment. This component monitors temperature at a specific point in the system and reports it to the control board or thermostat circuit, allowing Delfield refrigerated prep tables and cold-holding equipment to maintain accurate, consistent temperatures during operation.
Constant thermal cycling and, depending on placement, exposure to moisture or cleaning chemicals wear down the sensing element over time, leading to inaccurate readings, nuisance error codes, or a control system that can no longer regulate temperature properly.
Replacement should be handled by a qualified technician. De-energize the unit before accessing the sensor, disconnect the wiring or connector at the sensor, and remove it from its mounting point or probe well. Install the new sensor in the same location, reconnect the wiring, restore power, and verify accurate readings against a calibrated reference before returning the unit to service.
