The Doyon ELE131 is a genuine OEM heating element rated at 208V and 1,500 watts, designed for auxiliary or secondary heating circuits in Doyon deck ovens, proofers, or accessory equipment operating on 208V three-phase commercial services. The 208V, 1,500W specification provides moderate heating output suitable for supplemental heating zones, steam pan preheating, or proofer cavity warming where the higher-output 4,000W elements used in the main oven heating circuits would be excessive.

The ELE131 converts electrical energy into heat within the equipment cavity or water pan at the controlled 1,500W rate. At 208V, this element draws approximately 7.2 amps, making it compatible with standard branch circuit protection in commercial kitchen electrical panels. The element's physical form factor positions it correctly within the equipment for effective heat transfer to the intended heating zone.

Signs of element failure include the heating zone served by the ELE131 failing to reach temperature, the circuit breaker for the element circuit tripping, or an open circuit reading when the element resistance is measured with the equipment de-energized.
