The Doyon ELM940 is a genuine OEM conveyor gearmotor rated at 90VDC, designed exclusively for the Doyon FC2 and FC18 conveyor ovens. This integrated motor and gearbox assembly drives the conveyor belt at a controlled, adjustable speed, enabling precise product transit time through the baking tunnel. As a factory-original part, it ensures exact compatibility with the FC2/FC18 drive system architecture.

The conveyor gearmotor is the heart of the FC-series oven product transport system. It receives its DC power from the oven variable speed control, allowing operators to dial in precise transit times for different products. The integral gearbox reduces motor RPM to the correct belt speed while providing sufficient torque to move loaded product through the full baking tunnel without slippage or stalling.

Failure symptoms include the conveyor belt stopping mid-cycle, belt speed becoming erratic or uncontrollable, a burning electrical smell from the motor housing, or mechanical grinding noise from the gearbox. The motor may also run but produce insufficient torque under a loaded product condition, causing product backup at the oven entrance and production stoppages.
