Details

The Doyon QUE910 is a genuine OEM door gasket for the Doyon TLO series baking equipment, sold by the running foot to allow purchasers to cut the exact length required for their door opening. Sold per foot, the QUE910 provides flexibility for operators who need to replace only a portion of the gasket, or who are servicing multiple TLO units and wish to purchase a stock length that covers several replacements.

The door gasket forms the perimeter seal between the oven door and the door frame, preventing heat from escaping during the bake cycle and maintaining the thermal environment inside the oven cavity. In steam-equipped TLO models, the gasket also prevents steam from escaping at the door perimeter during steam injection phases, which is critical for achieving the correct steam concentration for products requiring it.

Signs that the door gasket requires replacement include visible cracking, tearing, or compression set in the gasket material, heat escaping visibly or audibly at the door perimeter during baking, inconsistent baking results due to temperature variation from heat loss at the door, or steam condensing on external surfaces near the door indicating a poor seal. A simple test is to close the oven door on a sheet of paper at several positions around the perimeter — resistance should be felt uniformly when the paper is pulled out.

Replacement should be performed by a qualified technician. The required length is measured from the door opening perimeter, the old gasket is removed from its channel or adhesive mounting, and the new QUE910 is cut to length and installed in the door channel. The door closing force and alignment should be checked after installation to ensure even compression around the full gasket perimeter.

The genuine Doyon QUE910 sold-per-foot TLO door gasket provides the correct cross-section profile and material specification for TLO series door sealing, ensuring an energy-efficient and properly sealed oven door after replacement.
