Details

The Doyon STF200 is a genuine OEM fan/blower wheel designed for multiple Doyon JA-series deck oven models including the JA-6, JA-10, JA-14, JA-20, JA-28, and JAOP configurations. As the air-moving component driven directly by the oven's circulating fan motor, the STF200 blower wheel draws heated air from the oven interior and accelerates it over the heating elements and through the oven cavity to produce the convective airflow that characterizes Doyon's JA-series baking performance.

The fan wheel is precision-balanced and sized to produce the correct airflow volume and velocity for the JA-series oven interior. The airflow pattern created by the STF200 determines how heat is distributed across the deck surface and how evenly products bake from side to side and front to back. The blower wheel works with the motor and the oven's internal baffling to create a consistent thermal environment across all shelf levels.

Signs of fan wheel wear or damage include increased vibration from the oven fan section, audible imbalance noise (a cyclical thumping or rumbling) during oven operation, visible blade deformation or stress cracks in the blower wheel, or a decline in baking evenness that cannot be corrected by deck temperature or time adjustments. Fan wheel failure can also result from motor bearing failure that allows the shaft to deflect and contact the fan housing.

Replacement should be performed by a qualified technician with the oven de-energized and allowed to cool. The motor access panel is removed, the set screw or retaining nut on the motor shaft is released, and the old fan wheel is withdrawn. The new STF200 is installed at the correct depth on the shaft, secured, and the panel is refitted before the oven is energized for a test cycle.
