The Pitco Extension, Fryer Drain (9-5/8" X 1-1/2") is a direct replacement drain extension for Pitco commercial deep fryers. Measuring 9-5/8 inches in length and 1-1/2 inches in diameter, it connects to the fryer's drain valve to extend the oil discharge point away from the fryer base, directing hot oil safely into a drain pot or filter pan during oil transfers and boil-outs. Using the correct drain extension ensures a secure, leak-free connection that keeps hot oil flow controlled and directed during potentially hazardous oil drain procedures.
Over time, the original drain extension can develop corrosion, thread wear at the connection point, or physical deformation from accidental impacts, all of which can create leaks or make the extension difficult to attach securely.
