The Fan Motor (Part# C15239A) is an aftermarket-compatible replacement for Perlick equipment, manufactured to match the fit, form, and function of the original Perlick part it replaces. As the fan motor, it is built to deliver the same performance as the OEM part at a lower cost. Fan motors in Perlick refrigeration equipment drive either the condenser fan, which pulls ambient air across the condenser coil to reject heat from the refrigerant, or the evaporator fan, which circulates cold air through the cabinet to keep beer, wine, and other perishable product at consistent temperature. These motors run continuously any time the compressor is calling for cooling, making them one of the higher-duty-cycle components in the system.

A worn or failed fan motor is one of the most common causes of warm spots, slow pulldown, or a cabinet that runs the compressor constantly without reaching temperature. Symptoms include a fan that no longer spins, unusual grinding or squealing noise from worn motor bearings, or a motor that runs intermittently. Left unaddressed, a bad fan motor causes reduced airflow across the coil, which drives up head pressure, shortens compressor life, and leads to inconsistent product temperature.
