This is a replacement Flange Gasket (part# 05330-011-47-79) measuring 3" by 3" in size, designed for Jackson commercial warewashing equipment, including undercounter dishwashers, door-type dishwashers, flight-type conveyor dishwashers, glass washers, and pot & pan washers. The flange gasket creates a reliable seal between two bolted flanged connections in the pump system, preventing pressurized water and detergent solution from leaking at the junction point.
Flange gaskets degrade due to thermal stress from temperature cycling, chemical erosion from detergent exposure, and mechanical fatigue from repeated bolt cycles and pressure fluctuations. Symptoms of flange gasket failure include visible water weeping from between the flanged surfaces, formation of mineral deposits indicating fluid seepage, reduced system pressure, and rust stains around the bolt holes. Neglecting to replace a failed flange gasket allows progressive water loss that reduces operational efficiency, creates slip hazards on facility floors, enables corrosion of surrounding metal components, and eventually causes complete seal failure.
