The Pitco Fryer Pucks (5/Pk) is a quality pack of five fryer cleaning pucks for Pitco commercial deep fryers, formulated to dissolve carbonized grease, polymerized oil residue, and food soils from the interior surfaces of the fry vat during the boil-out cleaning process. Each puck contains a precisely measured dose of cleaning chemistry designed for use with Pitco fryers, ensuring the correct concentration for effective cleaning without damaging fryer metals, coatings, or seals. Using the correct cleaning pucks ensures compatibility with Pitco fryer materials and the cleaning procedure specified in the operator manual.

Over time, every fry vat accumulates a layer of carbonized oil residue and polymerized grease on its interior walls, heating tubes, and probe surfaces that standard rinsing cannot remove. This carbonized buildup acts as an insulator on heating surfaces, reduces heat transfer efficiency, and can impart off-flavors to the cooking oil if not removed regularly. Using Pitco fryer pucks during the scheduled boil-out procedure dissolves this stubborn residue and restores the clean metal surfaces that deliver optimal heat transfer and oil quality.

Each puck is used by dissolving it in water-filled fry vats during the boil-out cycle according to the procedure in the Pitco operator manual, followed by a complete rinse and dry-out before refilling with fresh oil.
