Installed on the exterior or interior of Frymaster commercial fryers, this component protects nearby parts from the surrounding environment or provides structural support.

Positioned at the exterior of the assembly it protects, this type of component takes the brunt of daily handling, grease exposure, and wash-down moisture. Over time it can crack, warp, or lose its fit, which allows grease and moisture to reach and accelerate wear on the components underneath.

A technician should de-energize the unit, remove the fasteners holding the old component in place, and install the replacement in the same position. Confirm proper fit and secure attachment before closing out the job.
