The Pitco Full Basket is a direct replacement full-size fry basket for Pitco commercial deep fryers, designed to span the entire width of a full-size vat. Its heavy-gauge wire mesh construction and reinforced frame allow it to handle larger product loads, making it well suited for high-volume frying of items such as french fries, onion rings, and fish portions in restaurant and institutional settings. Using the correct full basket ensures a proper fit with the fryer's basket hanger rails and vat dimensions.
Over time, full baskets are subject to frame distortion, weld failures, and mesh damage caused by the weight of heavy product loads, constant immersion in hot oil, and repeated contact with the vat walls during busy service periods. A distorted or broken basket can cause uneven immersion of food, increase draining time, and create a safety hazard when lifting heavy loads from the fryer. Replacing the basket with the Pitco-compatible full basket restores the correct load capacity, mesh integrity, and handle strength required for safe, efficient operation.
