The Garland Platen/harness Export W/h (Part# 1859814) is a genuine OEM replacement cover/panel component for Garland commercial ranges, griddles, and cooking equipment. Installed on the exterior or interior of Garland commercial ranges, griddles, and cooking equipment, this component protects nearby parts from the surrounding environment or provides structural support.
Positioned at the exterior of the assembly it protects, this type of component takes the brunt of daily handling, grease exposure, and wash-down moisture. Over time it can crack, warp, or lose its fit, which allows grease and moisture to reach and accelerate wear on the components underneath.
Replacement is a simple component swap for a maintenance technician. With the equipment de-energized, remove the fasteners or clips securing the old component and take it off, being careful not to disturb anything it was protecting. Install the new component in the same position, securing it with the original hardware, and confirm it fits and seals properly before restoring power and returning the unit to service.
