Details
The Garland Open Burner Valve Less Hood (Part# 26878XX) is a genuine OEM replacement valve for Garland commercial ranges, griddles, and cooking equipment. This valve regulates the flow of gas, water, or air within Garland commercial ranges, griddles, and cooking equipment, opening and closing at the correct point in the operating cycle to control the process it feeds.
Valves see constant cycling under pressure and, depending on the media they control, exposure to heat, moisture, or mineral buildup, all of which wear the internal seat and seal over time. A failing valve commonly presents as a leak past the seat, a flow that will not fully shut off, or a valve that sticks and fails to open when needed.
A qualified technician should isolate and relieve pressure in the supply line, then disconnect the valve from its fittings, noting orientation and flow direction. Install the replacement valve in the same position, reconnect the fittings, and restore supply, checking carefully for leaks and confirming proper operation before closing out the repair.
